Cure ITP Naturally

Do you really think that your low blood platelets came from nowhere? Any idea why? No matter how hard you think, you can't seem to come up with a reasonable answer. It's not like you just came down with the flu. It is not really something that you catch on the way to work. Perhaps you just woke up one morning and ITP had arrived on your doorstep. Why is your body attacking its' own platelets? Take a serious look at your ITP disorder and be honest with yourself. You just might find the answers you need.

Your not getting the information you want from your doctor are you?  Or at least the ones that you want to hear. He has no idea why you have ITP. He only knows what drugs to prescribe to temporarily make it better. Or perhaps he'll recommend to cut out your spleen. Now that you've been recommended to take some harmful invasive therapy that you are scared to death of maybe you should consider other options.

But what do you really feel about your low platelet count? Do you think that perhaps you might play a little tiny part in the cause of your ITP? Don't be in denial!

Step back momentarily and take a good look at your life. You've got ITP, you're sick, you're afraid you might bleed to death if you bump your head, and the stares you get when people look at your bruises and wonder if you are a victim of abuse are enough to make you cry. I know you're despondent at the thought of a merry go round of drugs, chemotherapy or even the removal of your spleen. I'd be upset too if I were in your skin. But believe it or not I know how you feel, only I was the mother and it was my daughter who had to battle this weird blood disease..

Our family went through the same range of  emotions, anger and doubt in the early stages of our battle with our daughter Vivianna's ITP disorder. We didn't know what to do. We trusted our doctor and gave Viv up to a miserable round of Prednisone. My darling daughter said she felt so badly that she wished herself dead. That was the last straw! It was then that we decided to take action and personal responsibility for the health of our children.

We committed to find answers.  We asked ourselves some hard questions.

•    What is my diet like? Do I eat a healthy natural diet? Do I have lots of soft drinks and sugar?Or     do I eat a lot of processed or fast food?

•    Could I possibly have food allergies?

•    Have I been exposed to any toxins or chemicals?

•    Do I know what's in all my cleaning supplies?

•    What about the water that I drink? Is it pure?

•    What's in my make up or body care products? Are they  safe?

•    What about any viruses, parasites, or bacteria exposure? Can I completely rule these out?

•    Am I experiencing any undue stress? Are there any crises going on?

These are just some of the questions we asked in our quest for a solution to our daughters low platelet count. Its' time to consider that perhaps many of these factors are causing your illness and that you must take specific steps to cure your ITP naturally and gain control of you health.

Was the change in platelet due to drug therapy?  I have a child who has been in the hospital with platelets that (supossedly) went from 169 to 61, then flucuated around 60s to 40s.  Two days ago plateletes were at 34 and yesterday at 183 with no drugs to treat the low platelets!  I was told she was fine~ take her home.  No explanation; no further investagation.  It doesn't make any sense to me.  What do you think?

Thanks Maggie; this gave me food for thought.... I have been in the process recently of adjusting my diet. Living alone and being a senior I have fallin into lazy, and bad habits as addressed in your articles. I want to get off Steroids and get back to LIVING. My Count fell to 5, scary....Which landed me in the hospital and on Steroids. We got my count up to 33 and Dr. released me. I  will now be on Prednisone and Pantoprazole will counteract effects of Prednisone on the stomache. This is not an acceptable way to live. I know your articles have me on the right path now thanks to your research................ Kayrene--- Oceanside, CA

My Daughter has been fighting this disease since July 5, 2011. Her count was 10,000 when admitted to hospital with the red bumps and bruising on the body. While there they hooked her to a IV and by next day her count was 400,000 so they took her off that and put her on Prednisone & Pantoprazole at 3 pills a day. Her levels stayed in normal range so he dropped her to 2 pills a day and her count dropped. Now she is taking 5 pills highest dosage he can give. She is only 19 and i can see this is really taking a toll on her. They are talking about doing a bone marrow on her which is terrifing. I will do all i can to make sure she has a fighting chance at this disease. Thanks for your article i will definitly try them. Karen
